This enjoyable one-day course is designed to provide lovers of poetry and intelligent song lyrics an opportunity to explore how these forms work – and what the differences are between them. Designed for a small group of students, working individually and collaboratively, this course includes three practical sessions:
Session 1:
Rhyme and rhythm; how rhyme and rhythm provide a counterpoint to meaning.
Session 2:

Session 3:
Individual and collaborative writing, sharing and feedback.
