Sepulchre - Competition One

The Deadline for this Competition has Passed

This is a 1000-word short story competition. The closing date for entries is Sunday 7 October 2007 at midnight.

Entries must be submitted by email to greg.mosse@sepulchre.co.uk in .txt, .rtf or .doc format.

There is no set title for this competition, but each story must include at least one hatpin!

I hope you enjoy writing your story. Greg and I are looking forward to reading all the entries.

Terms and conditions

The Competition Organisers are Mosse Associates Ltd, owners of www.sepulchre.co.uk. Entries to www.sepulchre.co.uk Competition 1 must be a maximum of 1000 words. The Competition Organisers reserve the right to edit entries as they view appropriate.

Competition 1 is open to anyone aged 18 or over whose work would be protected under UK copyright law. Employees or officers (or members of their immediate families) of Mosse Associates Ltd shall not be eligible to enter the competition.

All entries must be entirely original to an Entrant and not an infringement of copyright or any other rights of any third party.

In consideration of being accepted as an Entrant for Competition 1, the Entrant by submitting their work hereby absolutely assigns the right to publish online on the website www.sepulchre.co.uk and any other website owned or maintained by the Competition Organisers.

The Competition Organisers acknowledge that, where the Competition Organisers decline to publish the Entrant's work online, the right to publish online will automatically revert to the relevant Entrant.

All entry instructions on this page form a part of the terms and conditions and entry instructions.

Entries must be submitted by email in .txt, .rtf or .doc format or in the body of an email to greg.mosse@sepulchre.co.uk. Entries in other formats will not be accepted. Entries may not contain any executable files.

By submitting a competition entry the Entrant agrees to abide by all rules and terms and conditions as defined by the Competition Organisers, including such changes as may later be decided by the Competition Organisers.

By entering this competition the Entrant agrees to be bound by these terms and conditions and confirms that the work submitted is their own and consents to the Competition Organisers publishing their work on the website www.sepulchre.co.uk.

The Competition Organisers accept no responsibility for entries which are not delivered successfully. Proof of delivery is not proof of receipt. All eligible entries submitted will be judged by a panel including Greg Mosse and Kate Mosse.

Any winners will receive a prize specified in the competition instructions on the page Current Competition on the website www.sepulchre.co.uk. It is the responsibility of the entrant to check the website www.sepulchre.co.uk for an up to date list of winners.

The judge's decision is final. No correspondence will be entered into.
